Karina Boyce de Castro is a 22 year-old photographer. She started photography in end of 2017, when she bought her first digital camera. In 2018, she had the amazing opportunity of doing a course of digital photography in the University of California San Diego. There she was able to explore various styles of photography and learn how to make the most out of programs such as Lightroom and Photoshop. In addition to this, the availability of a printing lab and the biweekly exposition & critique of the assignments enhanced her skills on the presentation of her content.

 

Throughout the years​, Karina discovered that her favourite styles of photography are street photography and travel photography. Her passion for travelling and interacting with different cultures is constantly reflected in her work. Photographing the everyday life and interaction of people in countries she has lived or visited, makes her admire even more the uniqueness and richness of each country.

 

In 2020, Karina finished her bachelor degree and now, she is focusing more on her artistic side by encouraging her passion for photography and art.
